Consignor Registration

We have already reached our capacity of 350 consignors for the Spring 2010 sale. If you would like to be placed on the waitlist, please email Stacy and provide your: name, mailing address and phone number.

To register for the Spring 2010 SCV Kids Consignment sale, please read the following:

Consignors must be consigning a minimum of 30 items and a maximum of 350.
By registering for the SCV Kids Consignment sale, you are agreeing to the terms outlined below in the Consignor Agreement. You will be prompted to agree to these terms during registration.
You must pay your registration fee ($12) to hold your Spring 2010 spot.
Please make sure that you have read the Consignor Information page and Product Tagging Instructions before you register.
Consignors agree to review the CPSC website to determine that none of their items has been recalled at www.cpsc.gov. Additionally, SCV Kids Consignment recommends signing up for CPSC alerts for children's recalled procucts at: www.cpsc.gov/cpsclist.aspx.
Once you have paid and registered, you should receive an email within 24 hours with instructions on how to start tagging your items. If you do not receive this email, please check your junk mail folder. If it is not there, please email me and request an additional copy. It is helpful if you add my email address stacy@scvkidsconsignment.com and kristin@scvkidsconsignment.com to your address book so that my emails do not go into your junk email folder.
Consignor registration fees are not refundable nor can they be applied to future sales.
RETURNING CONSIGNORS - If you have consigned at the Spring LA Kids sale, please make sure you email me to get instructions on how best to transfer any items between sales. Please do this BEFORE you begin entering any items into the tagging system.

Returning Consignors

Please follow the registration instructions closely so that your registration is complete:
- You will click the Register Now button below
- You will sign in with your consignor #/password
- Click "Register Me for Upcoming Sale"
- Read/Sign the Consignor Agreement online
- Click "Pay Now" and complete payment
- AFTER PAYING, WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE RE-DIRECTED BACK TO THE TAGGING SITE. IF YOU'RE NOT AUTOMATICALLY REDIRECTED, CLICK THE BUTTON THAT SAYS "RETURN TO MERCHANT". IT SHOULD SAY "YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY BEEN REGISTERED FOR OUR UPCOMING SALE". Click continue.
- Within 24 hours look for the "Consignor Instructions - DO NOT DELETE" email. This will tell you how to get started tagging.
- If you have consigned at LA Kids before but not SCV Kids, your consignor # may not be in the SCV system yet. If it is not recognizing you, sign up as a new consignor and then email us to ask us to change your consignor # to your LA Kids #.

Read/accept the terms of the Consignor Agreement
You will be directed to pay the registration fee via paypal (credit cards accepted)
****Once paid, you will be directed back to the site and given your consignor number. If you're not automaticallyl redirected, click the button that says "Return to Merchant"***** You must do this to complete your registration.
Within 24 hours you should receive an email from me titled "Consignor Instructions - DO NOT DELETE" - this will give you detailed information on how to use the program, how to tag your items, etc. Please read this information before you begin tagging. It will answer all your questions and help you do things correctly. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours (it will be sent to the email that you payed your paypal fee with), please check your junk mail. If it's not there, email me your paypal receipt and I will resend it.

Consignor Agreement

Spring 2010

In consideration for the opportunity to participate in and profit from the SCV Kids Consignment, LLC (SCVKC), the undersigned Consignor agrees to the following:

1. Consignor agrees to hold harmless and make no claim against Kristin Nelson, Stacy Kupfer, SCVKC, lesser or owner of the space where the sale is held, any volunteer or paid participants in the SCVKC, or the insurer of the SCVKC for the damage, theft, or loss of any items consigned to SCVKC. SCVKC does not anticipate any thefts, damage, or loss and takes every precaution to prevent them, but occasionally these events may occur.

2. Consignor agrees to waive any and all claims for personal injury resulting from participation in the SCVKC from whatever cause either foreseen or unforeseen against Kristin Nelson, Stacy Kupfer, SCVKCS, leaser or owner of the space where the sale is held, any volunteer or paid participants in the SCVKCS, or the insurer of the SCVKC.

3. Consignors will receive 65% of the sales price on items that sell. Consignors who volunteer and complete one 3-hour shift will receive 70% of sales. If a Consignor signs up to volunteer and does not complete the volunteer session, Consignor will then receive only 65% of sales.

4. Consignor agrees that on Sunday, April 25th, 2010, some items may be sold for up to half of the price originally designated by the Consignor if the Consignor has marked Discount on the item tag.

5. All goods left in the possession of SCVKC are at the sole risk of the Consignor. Consignor agrees that it shall assume and bear all risks regarding consigned goods, and will hold SCVKC exempt from any and all liability. Should items be lost, stolen or damaged, SCVKC is not responsible to compensate the Consignor for the items.

6. SCVKC reserves the right to remove any items from the sale due to wear, poor condition, or stains. Items remaining after Sunday, April 25th at 8pm will be donated or become property of SCVKC.

7. Consignor agrees that no claims will be made against SCVKC for any discrepancies involving items placed in the sale.

8. Consignor agrees that unsold items marked with Donate on the tag will be donated or become property of SCVKC at the end of the sale.

9. If Consignor does not come by during the Consignor pick-up times to look through all the merchandise that is missing tags, SCVKC will not be able to compensate you for any missing items. All merchandise without tags that does not get claimed is automatically donated.

10. Consignor has reviewed recalled items on the CPSC website: www.cpsc.gov/cpsclist.aspx and testifies that to their knowledge, none of the items being submitted to the SCV Kids Consignment sale has been recalled and meets with the CPSC standards for children’s products.

Each Consignor agrees to this and must sign a disclaimer form when they choose to sell their items at the SCVKC. If the form is not signed, it is assumed that the Consignor agrees to the form when they leave their items with SCVKC for the purpose of consignment.
